CHIP WATSON

s Market Leader and Managing Principal of SRS Industrial - Atlanta, LLC, Mr. Watson is responsible for the company’s growth and lines of service, including brokerage, asset management, capital markets and consulting. Mr. Watson prioritizes the importance of delivering thorough and advantageous solutions for his clients using his characteristic honest and direct approach. Known for his high standards in customer services and his relationship charisma, Mr. Watson is an active “player-coach” on the transaction front, a recruitment leader, and uses his natural talent to develop individuals professionally, while steadfastly focusing on SRS Industrial’s growth plans throughout the Southeast.

Over Mr. Watson’s twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, he has led global corporate services teams to support clients listed on the Fortune 500, built over 9 million square feet of build-to-suits for clients, including complex food and packaging manufacturing facilities, initiated new supply chain distribution centers for clients across North America and developed real estate strategies for users whose requirements range from site selection to construction issues to simple leases or sale/leasebacks. While he best fits in the industrial sector because of his passion for manufacturing, Mr. Watson also represents many clients whose needs include general consulting, asset management, and production facilities. Further, his experience in heavy civil construction is beneficial to his clients as it relates to infrastructure, ground-up construction, and process management.

Mr. Watson is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He carries the SIOR designation since 2007 (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), sits on the board of Agape Youth and Family Center (a local non-profit serving 220 children) and is a member of Northside United Methodist Church. When he is not working or volunteering, he enjoys catching and chasing critters outdoors and spending time with his family and pets.
